Stewart River to Gun Club Rd (Two Harbors)
Superior Hiking Trail Thru-Hike: Day 6
Got up to NOT RAIN! Fuck yes! Actually, didn't even put DEET on, instead put rainpants and poncho on andheaded out. Worked fantastic until I found myself sweating to death.
Made it to Gun Club Rd, and Alex picked me up within 10 minutes!
Went to the laundromat and ate chips and salsa, went to Castle Danger brewing and tried to consciously stay off our phones, which was wonderful! We actually just talked to each other ad we have a lot of fun random stuff to talk about!
Went to the AirBNB, showered and changed, ran to Cedar Cafe and had nachos, a cuban, and an affogato with Love Creamery ice cream. it was lovely. Outside the window at the cafe there is a whole grove of Cedar trees that you can walk through.
Went to Super One for more lettuce and a Jack's pizza. Went home to drop stuff off, went back to Castle Danger. Came home, made food, set up the bed, went to bed. A lot of mundane things but a wonderful time spent just hanging out and relaxing with each other.
